Motihari Central University or North Bihar Central University,Motihari

After a long struggle the central government sanctioned two central universities in Bihar and also change the name of these central universities.
1.North Bihar Central University. Motihari

2.South Bihar Central University,Gaya
Motihari ,was decided as the location for central university firstly.Also point to be noted the CM of the state Nitish Kumar announced this in a program of motihari engineering college.
Then the farmers of the district came front and offer the acres of land for free to the government for the establishment of central university. Bankat-bairiya, Rupdih and Basatpur farmers offer the land.The main chance of establishment of this university is at Basatpur i.e near to Motihari town and near to the National Highway.
Now the central university of Bihar is conducting their classes in patna it will shift to the Central university of South Bihar at Gaya.
Both the universities will be deemed and their will not be any dependencies between these universities.
The importance of central university in Motihari is to minimize the imbalance of education in the region.
Motihari is located at the centre of many districts (West champaran,Sheohar,Gopalganj,Muzafarpur)where the standard of education is very low and also the Motihari (East Champaran) is closely connected to Nepal.
For the establishment of this university people of East Champaran (Motihari) district struggled a lot and the end they got it.
Anyway it is like a dream for the people of this region.
They having a lot of expectation from this university.
According to sources the classes of this university will start by the year 2016.
